According to the Association of American Railroads (AAR), total combined freight-rail traffic fell 7.2% during the 53 weeks of 2020, Morristown & Erie Railway posted a 5% increase in traffic in 2020 from 2019 amid the Coronavirus pandemic. VP & COO Chuck Jensen described it as “This is a testament to our employees commitment to safety and service and an all around great team effort keeping true to our motto ‘Service is our Business!’”
